My workshop in October will my very last one! After almost 14 years of teaching yoga I have made the difficult decision to close my practice for the foreseeable future. Right now, my season of life requires me to focus on my family. Join me one last time before I say goodbye!
Since 2015, I have been passionate about pelvic health and an affiliate seller for the world’s leading alternative sexual wellness company, Yoni Pleasure Palace. However, it was not until after the birth of my daughter and the diagnosis of my pelvic organ prolapse that I made it the sole focus of my yoga practice. The pelvic floor is often overlooked but significantly affects women’s overall health. I believe there is a large gap in pelvic floor education and care. There is so much more to your pelvic floor than just kegels. The pelvic floor is not shown the attention women require to live full, vibrant, happy, and healthy lives. I’m passionate about working to change that!
Many people know what it feels like to swing their arms or curl their fingers, but rarely do people say that they know what their pelvic floor movements feel like. The pelvic floor is an ignored part of the body that plays such a huge role in your overall health. Additionally, ignored tension and/or weakness in your pelvis wreaks havoc on your entire body and nervous system. There are so many life-altering symptoms and conditions that most women don’t even realize result from pelvic floor dysfunction.
I have always believed that yoga is so much more than just an assembly of poses; it’s a lifestyle. It’s a way of uniting your body and emotions with the soul, and I carry this philosophy forward into my work with the pelvic floor. Pelvic floor work should incorporate not only the physical exercise, but breath, meditation, mindfulness, and mental connection.

I’m filled with gratitude and sadness as I shut the door on one of the biggest phases of my life: 14 years, 15+ certifications, 100s of friends, and countless memories. However, even after my practice is closed, I will always be a yogi. Yoga is a way of life, and it has changed me at my core. Everything else I do in my life, especially as a mother, will be steeped in the practices I taught and learned in yoga. If you want to get to know a little bit more about me, keep reading!
From personal experience, I can highly recommend Lauren Ohayon’s Restore Your Core® (RYC®), an evidence-informed core and pelvic floor program and pelvic floor rehab method. Designed for women experiencing core dysfunction, it’s a 12-week, online, guided movement-based solution that helps heal from pelvic floor dysfunction, diastasis recti, prolapse, leaking, back pain, and more. The focus is on retraining movement patterns, rebuilding strength, and restoring whole-body function – not just isolated exercises.
I love Lauren’s full-body approach to the pelvic floor, and the program is digestible and accessible with absolutely zero shame and lots of support. This 12-week program helped me find myself again amidst my fearful and upsetting prolapse diagnosis after having my first baby.
I went into my second pregnancy with a grade 2.5 prolapse, and I was scared of what another birth would do. I was determined to make it through my pregnancy and birth without worsening my prolapse. My son was 11lbs, born with a nuchal hand, I pushed for 7 minutes and delivered him at home. Despite the intense weight of my son my PROLAPSE REMAINED THE SAME.
It is because of the type of pelvic floor work practiced in the Body Ready Method that I believe I was able to have such a positive birth experience the second time around.

Excellent location and teaching with patience and education.
NO intimidation for those just wanting to try.
I felt in no way out of place and have done yoga 3 times in my life!

Really impressed for a first time go-er. I felt welcomed and at ease during practice, counteracting when I was full of anxiety on the drive to the gathering. This class was astonishing, exactly what I needed for the week ahead. It gave me such power in the midst of quiet. It opened my eyes to how I need to slow down, meet up with my soul, and make peace. I will totally be attending for many further practices.

I took Madison’s class while on a vacation, coming from New York City where yoga is as common as eating out, I have participated in many different types of yoga classes and have been led by a wide variety of instructors. Madison’s class was the best yoga class I have ever experienced. From the very beginning of the class, I felt completely comfortable and at ease. Madison’s instruction style makes her approachable and relatable. She explains the reasoning behind each movement (pose), allowing her students to become informed and knowledgeable about yoga and its effect on our bodies. Her friendliness, professional manner, and knowledge behind what she teaches make her class a one-of a kind experience which builds self-confidence, positive energy, and is a ton of fun!
