Are you ready to reconnect with your pelvic floor and enhance your overall well-being?

Yoga for the Pelvic Floor integrates pelvic education, pelvis mapping, anatomy insights, gentle yoga poses, restorative movement, breathwork, and meditation to help support and strengthen your pelvic floor. Yoga for the Pelvic Floor is an accessible workshop open to all- levels of yogi (even complete first timers!) All poses are tailored specifically to address your pelvic floor, including areas of the body that have a direct effect on pelvic floor health, such as your rib cage, transverse abdominals, glutes, and hips.

Why Focus on the Pelvic Floor?

In modern society, a lack of awareness and stigma surrounding the pelvis often leaves women disconnected from their authentic selves and creative power.  Many people know what it feels like to swing their arms or curl their fingers, but rarely do people say that they know what their pelvic floor movements feels like. Additionally, ignored tension and/or weakness in your pelvis wreaks havoc on your entire body and nervous system. The pelvic floor is often overlooked but significantly affects women’s overall health. This workshop is an opportunity to deeply connect with your body, discover your personal strength and power, and improve your physical and emotional well-being.

I had suffered from pelvic floor dysfunction my entire life, which presented as chronic constipation, bladder frequency, low back pain, and pain with penetration, but I never knew that it was due to my hypertonic and weak pelvic floor muscles. I saw many different types of doctors, but no one ever suggested addressing the pelvic floor. It was not until I was diagnosed with pelvic organ prolapse five months postpartum with my first baby and I went to see a pelvic floor physical therapist that I discovered the true cause of my pain.

There is a wide gap in women’s health that needs to be bridged. I am passionate about leading women back to this vital part of themselves, which is the key to many of their issues, and that is why I committed my entire yoga practice to the pelvic floor and created this workshop!

I have taken yoga classes from multiples instructors and Madison’s teaching style is exceptionally calming and encouraging. She is very helpful to step through poses, showing the “correct” form. I’ve been able to correct my form on several poses which always felt a bit “off” for me. Now I know why….I wasn’t using proper technique!  Thanks, Madison!

BRIDGET DESCHAINE

Madison has helped me tremendously through her private yoga instruction.  As an athlete, I have had many injuries in the past, and she has been instrumental in helping me improve my flexibility and mobility.  As a doctor, I fully endorse her and her skills as an instructor.  Not only does she know her material She has a wonderful gift in the way she teaches and empowers her students each and every session.  I highly recommend her to people of all abilities, from beginner to advanced.

I have felt a sense of emotional healing since attending your blue moon yoga session and I would love to take classes with you regularly. You’re great at what you do. And from the depth of my being, thank you for what you do. The universe always delivers what’s necessary with impeccable timing, and I’m grateful I was able to re-introduce yoga into my life with that session.
