Hi! I’m Madison Baer, photographer, homeschool Mom, holistic wellness practitioner, author of Meditate: A Simple and Straightforward Guide, poet, certified family herbalist, and yogi (RYT 500.)
I took my first-ever yoga class to help rehab after knee surgery when I was 19, in 2010. I came looking for physical healing and found a spiritual, holistic world that altered the entire course of my life. I ditched my corporate-planned future after college and started my own business as an intuitive healer, psychic reader, and yoga teacher, which I ran for 14 years. Teaching yoga and my spiritual, holistic business was one of the biggest chapters of my life, and it brought me so much joy. I think my fondest memory of all will always be teaching beach yoga at sunset on Sullivan’s Island, SC with the world’s best assistant teacher, my sweet, late Great Dane, Roscoe.
I have lived so much life through my yoga career, and my heart is so full in all the best ways. Yoga opened up a door to a world where I was able to discover my true self and make space for deep healing. Yoga has been a cornerstone throughout my entire life and I know that won’t change even though I’m done teaching for now. For the foreseeable future, my practice will be focused at home with my own special tiny yogis (my daughter’s current favorite thing is Cosmic Kids on Amazon Prime; if you have kiddos, check it out!)
If you are in Charlotte, NC, and still want the chance to work with me, reach out for a photography session! I document real connection, joyful milestones, and everyday magic through portraits and lifestyle sessions. Whether you’re welcoming a new baby or updating your family portrait, I capture authentic and timeless images you’ll cherish forever.

Madison is a wonderful, thorough, yoga instructor. Although I have taken yoga classes numerous times, each time with Madison I learn something new. She is really great at making sure her students use correct form, and to do poses slowly to improve balance. I highly recommend Madison, and especially enjoy her spiritual sayings at the end of each session.

Madison does a great job supporting each individual in their practice and helping them get where they want to go. She makes everyone feel comfortable enough to get out of that comfort zone AND manages to weave in some life lessons here and there.

It’s good for the soul. Madison is very intuitive, sensitive, and all around a great yoga instructor!
